The App Gallery · free for everyone
Every card below is a real mini-app you can build in Claude in about five minutes — no code, no signup beyond a free claude.ai account. Copy the prompt, paste it into Claude, and remix from there. New apps land in the Beginners in AI newsletter every week.
Paste your log, watch your habits grow.
Habit apps guilt you with notifications and hold your data hostage. This one flips it: your history is a plain text file you own, and the app is just the pretty window you paste it into.
Build an interactive artifact: a habit tracker built around pasting. Track three starter habits — drink water, 20-minute walk, read before bed — editable in the app. The heart is a big paste box: I keep a simple running log in my notes app, one line per day like '2026-07-05: water, walk', and paste the whole thing in whenever I visit; the app parses it and redraws everything. Show a month grid with a colored dot per habit per day, current and best streaks for each habit, and one gentle insight line like 'Walking is your steadiest habit this month.' Let me check off today with big buttons, then hit 'Copy my updated log' to get fresh text for my notes. Theme it like a little garden — each habit is a plant that grows as its streak gets longer. Everything in app state, no login.
You get: A garden-themed streak grid that rebuilds itself from whatever log you paste in, plus a copy-out button so your history lives safely in your own notes.
Your data: Your history lives as plain text in your own notes app — paste it in to see your streaks, copy the updated log back out when you are done; the artifact itself stores nothing.

Roll the dice, do the burpees.
The hardest part of a home workout is deciding what to do, and deciding usually turns into scrolling. Removing the choice removes the excuse.
Make an interactive artifact: a workout dice roller for no-equipment home sessions. One giant 'Roll my workout' button builds a random routine from an editable exercise pool (squats, push-ups, lunges, plank, jumping jacks, glute bridges, mountain climbers, wall sit). First I pick a length — Quick 5 minutes, Standard 15, or Feeling Brave 25 — and a focus: full body, legs, core, or upper. The roll animates like tumbling dice, then deals my workout as a card list showing reps or seconds per move, with a built-in timer that walks me through each exercise and beeps between moves. Add a 'too spicy, reroll one' button that swaps a single exercise, and a finish screen with a ridiculous victory message. Bold, energetic style with text readable from across the living room. Keep all state in the app, no login or saving.
You get: A one-button workout generator with a guided timer — you roll, it counts, you sweat.
Your data: Nothing needs saving — every visit is a fresh roll; if you want a workout history, ask Claude to add a copy-out log like the Habit Garden uses.
